From the region of Alentejo, Close to Estremoz comes Ciclo Vinho. A small independant house where Joachim Roque, Hugo Campos and Ana Paulino try to make the best wines they can, while intervening the natural process as little as possible. The bottles is made from a 100% syrah and was aged and fermented in oak barrels. Meant to be powerful and go against the cycle of the ever more acidic natural wine that seems to be the movement.
Full body, taninne like, black and red fruit, strawberryjam, cinnamon, linguering aftertaste.
