From the region of Alentejo, Close to Estremoz comes Ciclo Vinho. A small independant house where Joachim Roque, Hugo Campos and Ana Paulino try to make the best wines they can, while intervening the natural process as little as possible. This Pet Nat is made from 100% Castelao and was bottles with the idea of becoming a pet nat. Fermentation stopped early and we are left with a full bodied, soft velvety red wine instead. There are some residual sugar that make it an absolute juice! Structured wine, some exotic fruit on the nose and mouth, well balanced with acidity. Light tannin, residual sugar sweetness.
Serve ice cold!
