This wine is made of a mix of red and white grapes, also known as a clarete. 70% red grapes (Bastardo Preta e Negreda principalmente) and 30% white grapes (Malvasia, Bastardo Branco, Formosa, Poilta etc.) Grown on alluvial (or ancient river sediment) soil. The grapes were trodden by foot and pressed. Spontaneous fermentation in INOX vats. The wines are unfined, unfiltered and with just 30mg/L of sulfite added before bottling.
